Students below the poverty line studying in engineering colleges approved by AICTE on behalf of the Government of India, who are facing difficulty in taking technical education, will be given laptops for free.
Eligibility required to avail of the scheme
- Only permanent residents of India can apply for this scheme.
- Students who are pursuing diplomas in engineering, B.Tech, industrial sector management, pharmacist, computer courses, or other technical fields in AICTE-approved colleges will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- The annual income of the student’s family should be less than 2 lakhs.
- There will be no caste-based reservation for applying to this scheme.
