The name of this scheme run by the government is Chirayu Card Yojana.
Chirayu Card Scheme started for poor families
Under this scheme, your Chirayu card will be made. Using Chirayu card, you can get your treatment done for free in private and government hospitals. Under this scheme of the government, beneficiary families get the benefit of free treatment up to 5 lakhs. That is, under this scheme, you are provided a cover of up to 5 lakhs under which you can get treatment for free. This scheme of the government is no less than a boon for poor families.
Can get free treatment up to 5 lakhs
This scheme was started by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Under this scheme, families in the state of Haryana whose annual income is not more than Rs 1 lakh 80000, such families are given the benefit of Chirayu Ayushman Card Scheme. Through this card, card holder families can get free treatment up to ₹ 5 lakhs. Under this, the government has now made some changes under which if your income is more than one lakh 80 thousand, then you can still avail the benefit of Ayushman Card Scheme. For this you will have to spend ₹ 1500 and get your name registered under the scheme.

Eligibility required to avail the scheme
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana state.
- The annual income of the applicant should not be more than 1 lakh 80 thousand.
- No member of the applicant’s family should be in a government job.
- No member of the applicant’s family should be a taxpayer.
How to apply for Chirayu Card Scheme
- To apply for Chirayu Card Yojana, first of all you have to go to its official website.
- Now you have to click on “Apply”.
- Now you have to enter your family ID number.
- An OTP will come on the number registered in your family ID.
- Now you have to enter the OTP.
- Now you will be told whether your free Ayushman card will be made or it will be made by paying Rs 1500.
- If you get the option of payment, then you have to pay Rs 1500.
- After paying Rs 1500, you will get a receipt which you must keep safely with you.
