Under this scheme, senior citizens will be given financial assistance of ₹ 3000 every month, that is, assistance of ₹ 36000 is provided to the beneficiary annually. At the same time, youth whose age is between 18 to 40 years will be provided financial assistance ranging from ₹ 55 to ₹ 2000 every month. This includes motor mechanics, washermen, utensil makers, drivers, and other small workers. This assistance amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. That is, the beneficiaries will get the benefit of the scheme directly.
Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the youth and the elderly so that they can bear their day-to-day expenses themselves. This is a welfare scheme of the government. The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor helpless elderly of the country.

- To avail of the benefits of the scheme, the applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- The annual family income of the youth should not exceed ₹ 2 lakh.
- The monthly income of senior citizens should not exceed ₹ 15000.
- The age of the youth should be between 18 to 40 years.
