The Haryana government has launched the Haryana Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana for children who have lost family members to COVID-19. Under the Haryana Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana 2024, the Haryana government has announced financial assistance and other assistance for all the children who have lost their parents due to COVID-19.
Financial assistance of ₹ 2500 will be available every month.
Under the Haryana Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana, families taking care of such orphan children will get Rs 2500 per child per month as financial assistance whose parents have passed away due to corona infection. This financial assistance will be available to the children till the age of 18 years. Also, an amount of Rs 12,000 will be deposited in their bank accounts every year as other expenses till such children reach the age of 18 and get an education. This package will be available for the rehabilitation and assistance of those children below 18 years of age.
Eligibility required to avail of the scheme
- To avail of the benefits of this scheme, the applicant must be from a native family of Haryana.
- Children who have lost their parents in the Corona epidemic will be eligible for this scheme.
- The family of any government employee will not be considered eligible under the scheme and will not get the benefit.
