BPL students get a monthly allowance every month

The Monthly Allowance Scheme has been started by the Haryana Government to provide a monthly allowance to BPL students. Through this scheme, a monthly allowance is provided every month to BPL students studying in government schools. Under this scheme, different allowances are given in different categories. The amount received under the scheme is given to the students on a monthly basis. And after three months, it is sent directly to the bank account. This scheme will benefit more than 50 lakh students of BPL families in the state.

Through this scheme, a monthly allowance is given to BPL students studying in government schools. According to the scheme, there is a provision to give Rs 75 per month to all students from classes 1 to 5, and Rs 150 per month to girl students. Rs 100 per month is given to students from classes 6 to 8, and Rs 200 per month is given to girl students. The amount received under the scheme is transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account every 3 months.

Eligibility required to avail of the scheme

  • The student applying for the scheme should be a native of Haryana.
  • Only students studying in government schools can avail the benefits of this scheme.
  • The applicant student should be a student of classes 1 to 8.
  • The applicant student must have a family identity card and an Aadhar card.
    The annual income of the student’s family should be less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand.
    The family must have a BPL ration card.

How to apply under the Haryana Monthly Allowance Scheme

The online process to apply for this scheme has not been started yet. Application under the scheme can be done only through offline mode. To avail of the benefits of this scheme at the district level, you will have to go to the office of the District Education Officer (DEO) fill out the application form, and submit it. The eligible student will have to go to the District Officer’s office with the guardian.

There you will have to take the application form related to the Haryana Monthly Allowance Scheme. After this, by entering all the information asked in the application form correctly, and attaching a copy of the documents, you will have to submit it to the officer of the office. After this, the department will check your application form and documents. If all the information is found correct, the monthly allowance amount will start coming into the bank account of the eligible student.
