Post Office started new scheme
Deendayal Sparsh Yojana 2024 has been launched by the Postal Department. Under this scheme, school students are being given the benefit of scholarship of Rs 6000. Interested and eligible candidates can send their application till 9 September 2024. Under this scholarship scheme, scholarship is provided to meritorious students. Students of government and private schools can apply under Deendayal Sparsh Yojana.
Interested students have to follow the offline mode to apply. Under this scheme, students studying in any recognized government or private school in India can take advantage. Under this scheme, Rs 500 per month will be given as scholarship by the Postal Department.
Exam will have to be given to get scholarship
The benefit of this scholarship will be provided for one year. For this scholarship, you can send your application till 9 September. Students will have to take the exam to avail the scholarship. The exam will be conducted on 30 September 2024. This exam will be of 50 marks and the candidates selected in this exam will be given the benefit of this scholarship. Questions related to the postal department will be asked in this exam. Apart from this, questions of current affairs, history, geography, science etc. will also be asked in it.
Eligibility required for Post Office Scholarship Scheme
- The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
- The applicant should be studying in a recognized educational institution in India.
- To apply for the scheme, the applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous class. (5% relaxation will be given to students of SC and ST categories)
- Students of government or private schools will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- Students from class 6 to class 9 can send their application for this scholarship.

- To apply in the Postal Department Scholarship Scheme, the applicant has to apply through offline mode.
- To apply in Deendayal Sparsh Yojana 2024, first of all you have to go to your nearest postal department.
